Purpose:
To educate and empower students, women, and members of the community through self-defence training, crime awareness programs, safety education, and leadership activities conducted by Jana Gana Mana Foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and conduct self-defence awareness sessions in schools, colleges, and villages.
Coordinate certified self-defence trainers and ensure safe training practices.
Conduct crime awareness programs on cybercrime, women's safety, child safety, drug abuse prevention, road safety, and emergency response.
Educate participants about legal rights, personal safety, and reporting mechanisms.
Plan workshops, seminars, awareness rallies, and community outreach campaigns.
Build partnerships with schools, colleges, local organizations, and volunteers.
Maintain attendance, training records, reports, and event documentation.
Promote leadership, confidence, discipline, and responsible citizenship among participants.
Support fundraising and awareness campaigns related to community safety initiatives.
Ensure all activities follow applicable laws and organizational policies.
Required Skills:
Strong communication and public speaking skills.
Leadership and event management abilities.
Passion for community service and youth development.
Ability to work with students, women, and diverse communities.
Experience :martial arts, self-defence instruction, social work, or awareness programs is an added advantage.
Eligibility:
Graduate or undergraduate (any discipline).
Freshers with strong commitment to social service are welcome.
Prior experience in NGOs, education, community outreach, or self-defence training is preferred.
